Project Selborne is a Transformational Training programme with a strategic goal of modernising Royal Navy training to deliver “better trained sailors to the front line faster”.
This essential and exciting role has been designed to ensure that neurodivergent learners and those with Specific Learning Differences (SpLDs) are fully supported throughout their learning journey and time in service with the Royal Navy. This role also focuses on enhancing learners’ digital skills and promoting the use of new technology. Additionally, it provides assistance to individuals in utilising digital learning platforms to enhance their chances of success in Functional Skills English and Maths. This role would be on a secondment basis until Oct 2025.

Project Selborne is a £1 billion, 12-year contract which commenced operations on 1 April 2021. It is a strategic partnership between Team Fisher (a consortium of partners, led by Capita) and the Royal Navy, to transform 80% of shore-based training for sailors, submariners and marines.
