Job Summary

Alecto Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf a leading provider of aggregate washing plants for the quarrying, recycling, and waste industries. They offer comprehensive solutions, ranging from single equipment installations to the bespoke design and installation of complete washing and recycling systems.
With over 50 years of combined experience in washing, crushing, screening, and recycling, they are focused on delivering top-quality service.

Responsibilities

1. Installing, maintaining, and servicing aggregate washing plants and water treatment systems throughout the UK.
2. Working both remotely and on-site, diagnosing and resolving issues with customer equipment while ensuring top-quality service is consistently delivered.
3. Responsible for ordering parts to complete scheduled servicing and repairs, refurbishing used machinery to a high standard, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
4. Collecting and submitting warranty information.
5. Adhering to and maintaining company health and safety procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Hands-on experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy plant and quarrying machinery, such as diggers, dumpers, excavators, loading shovels, trommels, crushers, and screeners.
2. At least two years of field service experience with heavy equipment.
3. Basic welding and gas cutting skills.
4. Exceptional attention to detail.
5. A passion for your work and pride in delivering high-quality results.
6. Strong time management and organizational skills.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
8. A valid driving license and passport.
9. Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include Slinger Banksman, MEWP, or Telehandler certification, as well as first aid training.
10. Previous experience in pipe fitting would also be beneficial.

This role will be suitable if you are a Plant Mechanic, Plant Fitter, Service Engineer, Plant Engineer, Quarry Mechanic, Quarry Fitter, Field Service Engineer, Installation Engineer, Heavy Equipment Engineer, Field Service Technician, or Maintenance Engineer.
