Freelance Videographer – Bold Work Studios

Location: Oxford, UK (Must have a car)

Freelance / Project-Based (Full-time role available if desired)

About the Role

Bold Work Studios is looking for a skilled freelance videographer to join our team on an ongoing monthly basis for multiple exciting projects. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for storytelling and technical skill, as you'll be working on a variety of content – including commercials, interviews, documentaries, fashion, and sports videos.

We provide all the gear you need (Sony FX3, A7S III, Aputure lights, etc.), and if you prefer, office space is available for editing or working alongside the team. If you’ve got your own equipment, you’re welcome to use it too.

Success in this role means delivering high-quality videos, working collaboratively with the team, and being proactive in problem-solving and creative execution.

Responsibilities

• Film high-quality video content for a range of projects.
• Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to achieve the best visuals and sound.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and clients to bring creative ideas to life.
• Adapt to different environments, from studio setups to on-location shoots.
• Efficiently manage and organize media files for post-production.

Qualifications

• Must have a car and be able to travel for shoots.
• Proven experience as a videographer, with a strong portfolio in commercial, documentary, or branded content.
• Proficiency in using professional camera systems, particularly Sony (FX3, A7S III) or similar.
• Solid knowledge of lighting and audio techniques.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a small production team.
• Strong communication skills and a problem-solving attitude.
• Bonus: Drone and gimbal experience.
