Contract: Permanent / 40 Hours Per Week.

Hourly Rate: £15.28ph + £2.52ph for any hours worked between 18:00 - 06:00

Location: DPD Carlisle, Unit 1, Bacard Way, Kingmoor Park North, Carlisle, CA64FD

Days of Work: Monday to Friday.

Start Window: 16:00 - 20:00

Job Description

As a Class 1 LGV Driver for our Transport Department, you'll be making bulk collections and deliveries between various DPD sites and customers nationwide.

You will drive a modern and well-maintained fleet on agreed shift patterns, delivering to HGV-friendly locations.

Deliveries and collections may involve trailer swaps or having your trailer live unloaded and reloaded, depending on individual customer needs.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

To be considered for the role you must have:

1. A valid UK Class 1 Driving Licence
2. Minimum 12 months Class 1 experience
3. A valid UK CPC Card
4. A valid UK Digital Tachograph Card
5. Ability to load/unload trailers where needed

We are also looking for you to demonstrate that you:

2. Can work to deadlines, are flexible and always go above and beyond
3. Are friendly, approachable, positive, resourceful, and professional
4. Are able to multi-task and problem solve
