Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst in City

Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
Location: Cardiff, South Wales.
Salary / Benefits: 24k - 42k + Training + Benefits

Our client is a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy with an outstanding reputation in the South Wales region. Due to recently gaining further contracts, they are looking to onboard an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst. The successful candidate will work independently on commercial and domestic sites, carrying out management, demolition, refurbishment surveys, and conducting 4 stage clearances in line with client requirements. Our client would consider candidates who hold the BOHS P403 and P404 and are looking to upskill and gain further Pcert qualifications.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Newport, Barry, Pontypridd, Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil, Pontypool, Cwmbran, Chepstow, Swansea, Neath, Portishead, Bristol, Keynsham, Bath, Chippenham, Corsham, Trowbridge, Frome, Warminster, Devizes, Malbrough, Swindon, Cirencester, Shepton Mallet, Weston-super-Mare, Salisbury, Tidworth.

Experience & Qualifications:

1. Holding the BOHS P402, P403, P404, or RSPH equivalent is beneficial.
2. Experience working hands-on for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
3. Must have up-to-date and relevant knowledge on HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
4. Ability to communicate efficiently with clients and colleagues of all levels.
5. Excellent IT skills, able to use TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
6. Flexible and adaptable in line with company and client needs.

Responsibilities include:

1. Carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
2. Conducting re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
3. Undertaking 4 stage clearances, smoke, leak, background, re-occupation, and personal air testing.
4. Ensuring all work is carried out in line with agreed time frames and HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
5. Building and maintaining excellent professional relationships with clients, providing technical support and advice when required.
6. Completing reports in a timely manner upon completion of work using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
