As a Junior Business Development Executive you will develop your insurance knowledge, giving you the foundation to launch your insurance career in broking, claims or underwriting.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Cheltenham office.

Responsibilities
  • Interacting with potential clients via telephone and e-mail to promote the suite of insurance we offer.
  • Attending conferences to help build our brand awareness and business opportunities.
  • Promoting Howden product range to prospective and lapsed clients.
  • Enter and update customer information in our database.
  • Booking high-quality appointments for our executives to follow up.
  • Educating prospects about who we are and the value we bring.
  • Building a strong pipeline of leads.
  • Compile meeting notes and file recordings.
Knowledge
  • Previous experience in retail, customer services, sales or a call centre background is desirable.
Skills
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in speaking to decision-makers.
  • Resilience, motivation, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others.
