US Private Client Senior Tax Manager/ Associate Director

We are seeking an ambitious Senior Manager or Associate Director to join Oury Clark’s American Tax Team, helping one of the UK's respected tax practices to grow a first-class US tax team. This unique opportunity allows you to grow a US private client practice from an existing book of business and lead flow.

As a key member of our team, you will manage many of our key clients, ensuring their tax compliance and advisory needs are met to the highest standards. You will mentor junior staff, share knowledge, and collaborate with Directors on complex technical challenges. You will have the complete support of our American Tax Return team of Enrolled Agents and CPAs, with opportunities to work in UK tax within Oury Clark.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage key clients, ensuring their tax compliance and advisory needs are met.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with Directors on complex technical challenges.
• Handle new client enquiries and win new business.
• Work with US private client service providers in the UK.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of US/UK private client tax experience covering advice and compliance in both jurisdictions.
• Experience handling complex cross-border tax advisory projects.
• Proven leadership skills and experience training junior staff and graduate trainees.
• Established network and experience working with US private client service providers in the UK.
• Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• Strong technical US tax knowledge.
• Passionate about helping clients and producing high-quality work.
• Previous experience with US taxation of foreign companies, partnerships, and trusts is preferred but not required.
