Are you a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant seeking a rewarding role in a supportive and inclusive primary school environment? Empowering Learning is currently recruiting for experienced Teaching Assistants to join primary schools in Liverpool. As a Teaching Assistant in this role, you will work closely with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and those with behavioural needs, providing essential support to help them overcome challenges and thrive in their learning. You will work alongside class teachers, SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators), and other support staff to create an environment where every child is encouraged and supported.
What we're looking for:
A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, with a strong understanding of educational principles
Recent experience working within the UK primary education system, specifically supporting students with SEND and behavioural challenges
A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to working with children, ensuring they feel supported and encouraged
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with both students and staff
The ability to work independently and as part of a team, following the guidance of teachers and SENCOs
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
