Job Description
Housing Management and Property Litigation Paralegal
- Assist with the day-to-day running of files for solicitors and other fee earners
- Draft and prepare claim forms, pleadings, and witness statements for the County Court
- Manage multiple deadlines that relate to a variety of legal cases at any one time
- Prepare trial bundles
- Liaise with the Court prior to trials to ensure necessary paperwork is in hand
- Attend Court to assist Barristers and other fee-earners and help with any inquiries
- Conduct advocacy in the County Court on routine matters
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 2:2 degree or equivalent in Law (or appropriate conversion)
- Ability to conduct effective legal research
- Possess solid drafting skills
- Ability to prepare pleadings and witness statements for the Court
- Competent in all MS applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience in Housing Management and Property Litigation in a similar role
