Description and Requirements

The Global Channel Marketing Manager - Global Technology Partners (GTP) is a critical role in the development of strategic global accounts. This role is responsible for marketing activation for both 'to' and 'through' our GTPs.

We are looking for an experienced Global Channel Marketing Manager with experience in working with large scale global technology partners. Working as part of the International Channel Sales Organisation (ISO), the ideal candidate should have a sales mindset and a flair for account-based marketing. They should have a strong understanding of B2B technology marketing and operating in a channel led business. They'll possess a real passion for the channel and get excited about working with different geographies.

Central to this role is to create value and alignment; outstanding communication skills are a must for success and ideally experience of working in a complex matrix environment.

The key responsibilities of this role:

  • Create and execute channel marketing account plans aligned to the priorities of GTP sales organisations.
  • Work in collaboration with the account team to activate GTP's through enablement activities, communications, events and campaigns.
  • Create outcome led marketing in collaboration with GTPs to drive account engagement, solution development and pipeline growth.
  • Act as an ambassador for global channel marketing working collaboratively and building strong relationships across the Business Groups, Geo Marketing and Channel Teams.
  • Elevate the Lenovo brand by leading with consistency and quality of message.
  • Optimise internal processes to improve efficiencies of the overall channel execution globally.
  • Track marketing metrics and utilisation of channel marketing activities.
  • Own, manage and optimise the channel marketing allocated budget for your allocated partners.
  • Manage 3rd party agency relationships to maximise performance and successfully achieve plan execution.

What is required to be successful at this role:

  • 5-8 years B2B channel marketing experience is essential ideally with large scale global partners.
  • Previous experience of working in a global marketing role preferred in either a vendor, reseller or distributor in the IT sector.
  • Strong commercial skills and working in partnership with sales.
  • Strong team player with experience of working in a globally dispersed matrix organisation.
  • Proven experience of creating to and through channel marketing campaigns, content, events and programmes.
  • Strong attention to detail when managing multiple projects with great organisation & planning skills.
