One of the UK's largest network infrastructure providers and a supplier of managed communications and secure network solutions to a range of public sector and private organisations is seeking a CCTV Engineer.

The CCTV Engineer will be involved in the installation and commissioning of a range of CCTV systems and must be fully conversant in the physical installation of CCTV systems, understanding the client's requirements and transitioning them into a commissioning plan and documenting the commissioning process.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

1. To carry out the installation, testing and maintenance of CCTV & Security Systems
2. Installation of a mix of systems to a high standard and to manufacturers' standards.
3. Working to an extremely tight programme as part of a large team
4. Maintain production levels, workmanship and high standards of housekeeping
5. Ensure SH&E processes and procedures are always implemented.
6. Maintain all plant and specialist tools as supplied by the Company in good condition that allows all works to be carried out in a safe manner.
7. Experienced in commissioning CCTV systems and hold or willing to work towards CITMA accreditation (Milestone)
8. Ability to carry out upgrades on server based platforms, NVRs and Windows operating systems
9. Familiar with IP topography and IP protocols

Essential Skills & Experience:

1. Ability to read diagrams and schematics
2. Structured Cabling expertise
3. Door access experience
4. Minimum of three years' experience of working within CCTV
5. Ability to install, terminate, test and maintain all types of security systems, including CCTV, CEM and Paxton products (Formal training with a Manufacturer preferred)
6. Milestone Technician level one holder
7. PC Literate to update, install network changes
