The Role
We're on the lookout for a Product Owner to join a forward-thinking product team focused on enhancing customer experience through smart decisioning technology and value-added features. This includes dynamic spend controls, merchant loyalty programs, and features that enable businesses to customise how and where payment cards are used.
As Product Owner, you'll play a key role in developing and scaling a loyalty and payments ecosystem that delivers exceptional customer and merchant experiences. You'll collaborate across technical, commercial, and design teams to drive growth, retention, and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Be Doing
Define and own the roadmap for value-added features and loyalty programmes, aligning with the wider business strategy.Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders (including merchants) to define requirements, gather feedback, and drive engagement.Translate ideas into actionable user stories, prioritise the backlog, and work with delivery teams to launch high-quality, scalable features.Deliver simple, intuitive experiences that add value for both cardholders and merchants across the ecosystem.Use customer and transaction data to inform product decisions and optimise program performance.Stay on top of industry trends and competitor offerings, suggesting enhancements to stay ahead of the curve.Build strong relationships with coalition merchants to drive adoption, performance, and shared success.
What You'll Bring
3-5 years' experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally within fintech or payments.Proven experience with loyalty programs, smart payment solutions, or working in merchant coalition environments.Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience.Commercial and strategic mindset - you balance long-term vision with execution.Experience working in Agile environments with tools like Jira and Confluence.Technical understanding of payment platforms, loyalty frameworks, and customer data.A relevant degree in Business, Marketing, or Technology.
