Celine Interior Design is seeking a design director to join its team in London.

The role

As design director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the creative vision and strategic direction of the firm. You will lead and inspire our design team, ensuring the highest standards of design quality and innovation across all projects. This is a leadership role requiring exceptional design expertise, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• lead the creative direction and overall design vision of the firm
• oversee multiple projects, ensuring design excellence from concept to completion
• collaborate with clients to understand their vision and translate it into exceptional design solutions
• mentor and inspire a team of designers, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration
• ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard
• produce and monitor master and project specific programs and timelines
  Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate innovative design practices
• represent the firm at industry events, client meetings and presentations

Requirements:

• proven experience as a design director or in a senior design leadership role
• strong portfolio showcasing high-end, innovative design projects
• excellent leadership and team management skills
• outstanding creative vision and attention to detail
• strong client-facing and communication skills
• ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• proficiency in design software and an understanding of industry-standard tools
