HR Advisor
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to support the HR Manager and lead the Employee Services Team (EST) in delivering efficient, professional HR services. You will manage day-to-day activities, ensure compliance with HR policies, and contribute to the overall success of the HR Advisory Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and lead the Employee Services Team (EST) to deliver HR services.
  2. Ensure HR policies, procedures, and statutory requirements are followed.
  3. Provide HR advice to managers on employee services and attendance management.
  4. Produce timely HR statistics and reports for senior management.
  5. Lead HR-related projects and assist with recruitment activities.
  6. Improve HR systems and processes, ensuring best practice.
  7. Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Criteria:

  1. Degree-level qualification and CIPD membership (Assoc CIPD or above) or equivalent experience.
  2. At least two years' experience in an HR role within a large, complex organisation.
  3. Strong understanding of HR policies, employment legislation, and HR systems.
  4. Excellent communication, organisational, and customer service skills.
  5. Full UK driving licence or access to transport to fulfil job requirements.

Desirable Criteria:

  1. Experience improving HR processes.
  2. Public sector or local government experience.
