Purpose Statement
Due to continued growth, sa.global UK are looking for an experienced Legal Industry Sales Lead. You will be someone who understands the legal market and sees an opportunity to deliver significant benefits through the adoption of AI-enabled, platform-based finance and practice management solutions.

You will excel in building relationships with a willingness to constructively challenge and a drive to deliver value. Ideally, you will have experience of selling to law firms and can demonstrate success of managing complex, high-value opportunities and bids as part of a team.

Position Overview
The Legal Industry Sales Lead will report directly to the UK&I Chief Revenue Officer and will have no direct reports, however, you will lead and orchestrate a team to drive opportunities in the sector.

The location for this role is the United Kingdom. Normal working hours apply to this role (9am-5:30pm UK time), however, there may be times where you need to work outside of our usual working hours.

Areas of Responsibility

  1. Secure opportunities with new clients to meet sales orders target.
  2. Build and develop a robust pipeline of opportunities to support and deliver sustained future growth.
  3. Be a brand ambassador for sa.global in the legal sector.
  4. Establish and maintain strong relationships across the legal sector with clients and partners.
  5. Uncover and effectively align customer pain points and desired outcomes to our industry focused solutions.
  6. Position the business value of sa.global’s legal solutions to prospective clients, partners and advisory organisations.
  7. Facilitate demo sessions with pre-sales technical support, customer proposal production and RfP responses.
  8. Promptly respond to sales qualified leads (SQLs), maintain regular client contact, and work within the pre-sales and delivery teams to coordinate responses.
  9. Conduct regular opportunity planning and knowledge sharing sessions with Microsoft sellers, technical specialists and other partners to jointly target potential clients.
  10. Collaborate with sa.global’s product team, providing feedback on industry requirements that would enhance our offerings.
  11. Follow sales governance to ensure quality and manage risk.
  12. Maintain accurate information on opportunities to enable effective forecasting and planning.

Skills and Experience

Required:

  1. Experience selling solutions into law firms.
  2. Strong desire to learn, take on feedback and develop.
  3. Demonstrable track-record of closing complex solution sales.
  4. Background and understanding of ‘target market segment’.
  5. Experience selling at senior management and partner levels.
  6. Demonstrates energy, enthusiasm and proactively seeks opportunities to improve sales.
  7. Demonstrates commitment to the role, team and company, and will go the extra mile when required.
  8. Demonstrates creativity and reacts positively to new challenges and change.
  9. Demonstrates self-awareness and practical self-development in pursuit of continuous improvement.
  10. Possess a high work ethic in accordance with role demands, expectations and responsibilities.

Advantageous experience:

  1. Experience in a commercial function within the Microsoft partner channel.
  2. Experience selling across the Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform.

Travel
UK Travel including some overnight stays to be expected.
