Purpose Statement: Perform complex repairs in electronic assemblies.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  1. Adapts to changes in the work environment, including changes in work plans, priorities, and management decisions.
  2. Actively participates in initiatives to improve the work environment and productivity, and seeks opportunities to enhance efficiency.
  3. Works collaboratively in a team and cross-functional teams, sharing knowledge and experience proactively with co-workers.
  4. Demonstrates competency in job knowledge and skills, can handle additional assignments and adapt to new work requirements with minimal supervision.
  5. Ensures compliance with Plexus quality policy guidelines, customer specifications and regulatory requirements, consistently completes assignments on time, manages workload effectively, and maintains quality standards while eliminating waste.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  1. A High School diploma or equivalent GED is preferred.
  2. Three (3) years of related experience in electronics production/manufacturing is preferred.

Other Qualifications:

  1. Basic Computer Skills.
  2. Ability to adapt to change.
  3. Employee must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment.
  4. Good oral and written communication skills are necessary.
  5. Ability to learn and be comfortable completing different tasks on a frequent basis.
  6. Ability to execute sound judgement and demonstrate initiative.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to sit and/or stand for the duration of shift.
  2. Ability to frequently reach at waist and occasionally above head.
  3. Ability to carry up to 4.5 Kg (15 Lbs.) and lift up to 20.4 KG (45lbs).
  4. Ability to use fine motor skills and occasional use of hand tools.
  5. Ability to frequently push, pull, bend, kneel, and/or stoop.
  6. Ability to meet visual acuity requirements that are defined by industry certifications and customer specifications.
