Are you a quality assurance professional, having worked within Pharmaceuticals / Biopharmaceuticals? Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role in the pharmaceutical industry? Our client, a leader in delivering high quality, processed biological materials is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Officer to join their growing team.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring all aspects of Quality Assurance activities are completed to the highest standards, adhering to all applicable regulations and best practices.
Key responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Officer - Pharmaceuticals include:
- Working within and supporting a small Quality Assurance team in line with GxP, Quality and Health & Safety standards.
- Managing the Quality Management System and associated documents.
- Acting as the primary contact for QA across site.
- Providing support during major quality investigations, internal audits, and support the hosting of on-site regulatory audits.
- Analysing deviations and customer complaints to identify trends and suggest improvement strategies.
- Coordinating quality files and review Batch Process Records.
- Managing risks to product quality, data integrity and patient safety throughout the product lifecycle.
To be considered as a Quality Assurance Officer - Pharmaceuticals, you will need the following skills or experience:- Prior experience working in a Quality Assurance Role, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrable experience of working with quality documentation and quality management systems.
- Extensive knowledge of sterile aseptic filling and packing manufacturing process.
- Experience conducting root-cause analysis and investigating deviations and GDP incidents.
- Prior experience or working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, able to cross-functionally communicate with internal departments and customers.
- Previous experience in a clean room or manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous.
- A BSc/MSc in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
- A Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
