BMS Engineer

Are you an experienced BMS professional looking for a remote position? Clear Engineering are working closely with one of Europe's most successful BMS companies, who are seeking a Quotation/Estimating Engineer. You will work closely with the sales team, project managers, and clients to develop cost estimates, evaluate technical specifications, and ensure the best solutions are proposed to meet client requirements.

Location: UK (Fully Remote)

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

Responsibilities:

1. Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and client requirements to develop accurate BMS quotations.
2. Prepare detailed cost estimates, including equipment, labor, software, and installation costs.
3. Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain the best pricing and technical support.
4. Assist in value engineering to optimize solutions while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
5. Provide technical support to the sales team during client meetings and bid presentations.
6. Collaborate with project and design teams to ensure seamless transition from quotation to project execution.

Required Experience:

1. Previous experience in BMS, HVAC controls, or related industry estimating/quotations.
2. Strong knowledge of BMS systems, components, and control strategies.
3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
4. Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and supplier interactions.
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple quotations simultaneously.
