Our client is a leading firm of accountants with an interesting and varied client base that offers a dynamic working environment,hybrid working, and great long-term career prospects.

Your role as Audit Assistant Manager:

Will be to supervise and lead a team of active studiers and will have a strong Audit bias. You will be managing a client portfolio to include a wide range of Owner Managed Businesses, SMEs and also within the portfolio will be some UK subsidiaries International Groups.

1. Audit will comprise around 80% of the role and will involve Planning; Review through to Completion of the Audit.
2. The accounting work will comprise around 20% of the role and will include the review of Statutory Financial Statements as well as disclosures including Consolidations.
3. Supervisory work to include training of more junior staff to include onsite supervision; one-to-one meetings and working with team members on their personal development programmes.
4. Attending client networking events and relevant marketing activities.

The firm welcomes candidates who:

1. Are ACA or ACCA Qualified or equivalent with relevant Audit and Accounting experience.
2. Have supervisory skills to review Audits and development of the team.
3. Have excellent communication skills to build internal and client relationships.
