Location: Ashton Road, Lancaster, LA1


Position: Memory Assessment Nurse

Specialisation: Dementia Assessments


Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm

Pay Rate: £27ph + £250 bonus


About Us: Service Care Solutions is a leading healthcare recruitment agency specialising in connecting dedicated healthcare professionals with enriching opportunities.


Service expectations: You will be a member of the multi-disciplinary memory assessment service team and as an independent specialist practitioner you will ensure the effective assessment, planning, consultation, and formulation towards diagnosis.


Responsibilities:

  1. To have a specialist knowledge and understanding of strategies and interventions in the treatment of dementia.
  2. To be proficient in referring to other agencies within the service or referring to other services or agencies where necessary.
  3. To confidently identify risk factors and action accordingly.
  4. To provide mentoring and clinical supervision to other staff and trainees on placement.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Fully enhanced valid DBS
  2. Must have experience with Older adults / dementia
  3. Must have Mental Health Nursing degree.
  4. 12 months post qualification experience required.

Rate Breakdown:

£27ph LTD | £24.29ph PAYE Inclusive


We offer a £250 bonus for starting a contract with SCS.
