Location: Lambeth - Near Balham Station
Position: One-to-One Teaching Assistant (Year 3 - Moderate Learning Difficulties)
Salary: GBP90 - GBP110 per day
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Start Date: ASAP

Are you a compassionate and dedicated One-to-One Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive primary school? A fantastic school in Lambeth, near Balham Station, is seeking a committed One-to-One Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 student with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) on a full-time basis.

The Role - One-to-One Teaching Assistant

1. Provide tailored support to a Year 3 student with MLD, helping them access the curriculum.
2. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement effective learning strategies.
3. Assist with academic tasks, communication, and social development.
4. Create a nurturing and structured environment to encourage progress.
5. Monitor and report on the student's progress to support their learning journey.

What We're Looking For

1. Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in SEN support.
2. Understanding of MLD and strategies to support children with additional needs.
3. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards learning.
4. Strong communication skills to work effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals.
5. A valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
