Senior Product Designer (UX/UI), London/Remote, £550/day (INSIDE IR35)

A good client of mine, a leading digital agency are currently looking to hire a Senior Product Designer to join a large end client of theirs for an initial 3 month contract. This will be a quick turnaround with immediate interview slots available.

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer with a strong background in finance or banking to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, user-centered interfaces and experiences for digital financial products, including mobile apps, web platforms, and banking tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create seamless, accessible, and visually appealing designs that align with business goals and regulatory requirements. Your expertise in financial services will ensure designs meet the unique needs of our users while delivering an optimal user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research and gather insights specific to financial services and banking.
• Design and prototype user interfaces for digital banking products, ensuring accessibility and usability.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs based on user needs and business requirements.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure design consistency and functionality.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in the financial sector.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating work in finance or banking.
• Expertise in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
