Global Equities Investment Specialist

A global asset management firm is seeking to hire an Investment Specialist to join the Global Equities investment team.

This role will support the Global Equity Portfolio Managers and act as a conduit between the investment team and sales/client group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with existing and prospective clients and help ensure client deliverables are met
• Represent Portfolio Managers and respond to any technical questions from clients relating to investment processes, portfolio performance or market trends
• Produce investment literature for marketing materials and market commentaries for existing and prospective clients
• Conduct market research to keep abreast of market trends and ensure competitive positioning and pricing of products
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders building strong relationships with Portfolio Managers, Sales and Marketing team

Candidate Requirements:

• 5-7 years of relevant work experience in an investment/product specialist, manager research or similar role
• Strong interest in equity investing
• Knowledge of global equity securities/portfolios
• Excellent academic credentials
• Completed or working towards CFA qualification
• Ability to present and communicate with key stakeholders within the business
• Self-starter with an ability to adapt to get things done
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of self-awareness
• Hard-working and energetic individual
• Team player
