Description of Job:

1. We need to establish a new programme of fundraising growth that can increase our annual income by £150 - £200k.
2. Through this new organisational role, you’ll proactively create and grow fundraising income opportunities with individuals, corporate partners, granting giving trusts and foundations, and community groups. You'll be at the heart of our local community, bringing our cause to life and building lasting donor relationships.
3. Through your fundraising expertise, you will have a proven track record of building relationships with corporate partners, individuals, and other donors to achieve and exceed annual income targets and KPIs. You’ll have the capacity to create and craft compelling proposals and appeals that successfully engage and attract donations from new and existing supporters.

Norwood and Brixton Food Bank is part of the Trussell network of food banks. We provide 3 days' worth of emergency food to people in crisis in Lambeth and North Croydon. All our food parcels are pre-booked by one of our referral agencies via our online food voucher system, and all clients receive a dietary call to confirm their requirements. We either deliver our food parcels to clients' homes or clients can collect them from one of our collection centres. Our centres provide a warm welcome, refreshments, and the opportunity to talk to our volunteers, signposting team, or advisers.
