About The Role

If you are passionate about making a real difference to the lives of veterans and their families, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our award-winning Poppy Appeal team in the South East & South West Midlands. As a Regional Poppy Appeal Manager, you will play a key role in driving the success of the Poppy Appeal, ensuring it continues to inspire and mobilise our incredible network of volunteers.

In this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for:

  1. Developing and executing strategic plans that align with our Poppy Appeal and Fundraising strategy.
  2. Overseeing regional budgets, ensuring we meet our net contribution targets.
  3. Sharing insights and feedback from regional activities to our leadership team.
  4. Managing financial processes, contributing to budget cycles, and supporting the development of long-term income pipelines.
  5. Building strong relationships with local stakeholders, managing risk, and ensuring compliance.
  6. Motivating and developing your team through regular one-on-one meetings, team gatherings, and effective performance management.

If you have experience in people management, team development, budget oversight, performance monitoring, community fundraising, and event management, along with strong IT skills and excellent communication abilities, we’d love to hear from you. Join us and become part of a truly inspiring cause!

Here at RBL, we aim to support our people and their wellbeing, with a package including generous paid holiday allowance and pension scheme contributions, and a range of optional benefits and discounts.

You will be contracted to your home address, and you will perform most of your work remotely there using our collaboration tools to work with colleagues, with occasional travel (including for monthly team meetings). This particular role will require a full UK driving licence. Our ideal candidate will be living in the Midlands.

RBL is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive organisation, reflecting the diversity of the armed forces community and of wider society. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and personal characteristics.

We may close this vacancy early if we believe we have enough strong applications to be able to successfully fill the role(s). Interested candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
