Due to continued growth, we are seeking 2 x Enthusiastic Air Freight Import Clerks to join our committed team at our Yusen Logistics Staines site on a full-time, permanent basis, predominantly working Monday – Friday from 09:00 – 17:00.

The Role

As an Air Freight Import Clerk, you will support our airfreight import services by ensuring all air import shipments undertake their journeys successfully. Managing Day-to-Day shipments from start to finish, you will raise import Job files, complete Import Customs declarations, arrange final mile deliveries (Groupage/Special) according to customers’ requirements and deadlines, and issue final invoices to relevant parties on Job completion. Ensuring all import processes are done according to “AEO” compliance.

About You

• Freight Experience is essential
• Import Customs clearance experience is essential
• The ability to prioritise and organise workloads
• Excellent IT skills, including MS Word and Excel
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Cargowise Software & ASM Sequoia knowledge is preferable
