Shape the Future of Last-Mile Delivery at Amazon

At Amazon, our mission to be Earth's most customer-centric company extends to revolutionizing delivery services through our Delivery Service Partner (DSP) program. We're creating unprecedented opportunities for entrepreneurs to build and manage successful logistics companies while strengthening their local communities.

We're seeking innovative program managers to develop and implement comprehensive support services that empower DSP entrepreneurs. You'll be instrumental in helping business owners establish, scale, and optimize their delivery operations through our Value-Added Services platform.

This position is suited for a motivated self-starter who understands the challenges of small business management and industry trends, and can build trust with business owners to solve problems. Strong project management skills are required to advance multiple projects amid uncertainty, as well as the ability to engage many stakeholders to drive organizational change.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Manage 3rd party vendors, mitigate pain points of partners, and work with business teams to create development plans for new services, and execute project plans for the launch of new features.
  2. Act as the ‘product owner’ for assigned categories, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact the product. This includes owning forecasting, monitoring, driving changes to achieve business objectives.
  3. Have a thorough understanding of the product category, seasonality and continually monitor customers feedback and vendor's development.
  4. Be main Point of Contact (POC) in case of escalations and manage vendor relationships on an ongoing basis.
  5. Foster strong relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and process excellence.
  6. Champion the interests of Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) and consistently work to simplify and enhance their experience and that of their drivers.
  7. Coordinate consolidated order execution and administration.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience in vendor negotiation and project management in logistics-related industries
- 4+ year of relevant work experience
- Business level of English and Japanese

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience of entrepreneurship and working in a start-up environment
- Excited about working in a diverse group and contributing to an inclusive culture
