Previous experience in a similar Project Engineering or Project Management role.

Developing and evolving new projects for the business.
Overseeing projects from initial requirements through design and installation.

JOB: Project Manager - Engineering / Manufacturing

LOCATION: Cornwall

TERM: Permanent

SALARY: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in Manufacturing on a permanent basis in the Cornwall area. The ideal candidate will have experience in the engineering/manufacturing industry, and this role could also suit candidates with experience in the Energy, Nuclear, or Renewables (Solar, Wind, etc.) sectors.

Attributes:

Qualified in Engineering ideally (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) OR qualified by experience
Previous experience in a similar Project Engineering or Project Management role within Engineering or Manufacturing
Relevant experience overseeing NPI, installation, or similar projects
Able to communicate with designers and subcontractors for technical specifications
Familiar with cradle to grave project management
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Self-motivated with a positive attitude
Good problem-solving skills
Experience with Energy, Renewables, or High Voltage electricity is very advantageous

Responsibilities:

Developing and evolving new projects for the business
Overseeing projects from initial requirements through design and installation
Liaising with other departments to ensure projects are on time and within budget
Managing maintenance projects as required
Some travel may be required
