Project Manager - German Speaking

Advancing People Multilingual - Recruitment Specialists are now recruiting for a German Speaking Project Manager for a US Owned manufacturer and global distributor to the pipeline sector. As a world's pipeline infrastructure our client continues to operate safely, whether it's carrying oil, gas or new energy sources such as hydrogen.

As a German speaking Project Manager you will be responsible for analysing and evaluating customer needs, providing technical review support to the quotation process, and coordinating projects from initial stage to final completion to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support and assistance to the internal and external sales teams.
2. Make regular visits to the project job site and customer to ensure customer satisfaction and field work is running to plan; take corrective action as necessary.
3. Ensure customer invoices are correct and in line with the contract and presented in a timely manner.
4. Develop preliminary scope of project work and execution plan, applying sound project definition, organization, and management skills to pipeline projects.
5. Establish and maintain knowledge of project product/service offerings, pricing, delivery, and technology.
6. Attend site visits and customer meetings as necessary.
7. Establish, assign, document and communicate project risk level to the customer and services organization on all projects.

Person Specification:

1. Fluent in German.
2. Previous experience working as Project Manager, Technical Project Manager, Project Coordinator or any other role in Project Management.
3. Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or other related field is advantageous.
4. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
5. Project management process-oriented.
6. Previous roles of project coordinator with intense commercial activity and/or site supervision would be essential.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This is a full-time permanent position offering an attractive basic salary of £50,000 - £65,000 + 5% Bonus & Company Benefits.

Remote Role - travel to Swindon on occasion.
