HGV & TRAILER TECHNICIAN - SOUTH EAST LONDON (Erith)

Annual salary from £44,811 - £49,257 (45 hour week)

Right now, we have an opportunity for an experienced trailer technician to work at our customers site in Erith. You will be predominately working on Trailers in a clean, warm and well-maintained environment with excellent equipment.

Previous experience as Trailer fitter essential. Preferred experience: Double Deck, MoT prep, and Class 1. We offer a rewarding career in the transportation industry with a competitive hourly rate of pay, overtime and other benefits. Saturday x 1.5 and Sunday x 2.

Responsibilities include:

• Carry out Service, Maintenance and Repair of trailers.
• Carry out inspections.
• Complete MOT prep/presentation.
• Completion of all required paperwork, including job cards and service sheets using online systems.
• Fault diagnosis and rectification.
• To work safely and comply with H&S legislation and company procedures at all time.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in HGV Repair & Maintenance.
• Full valid driving licence.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic IT knowledge beneficial.
• Minimum 2 years post qualified experience is essential.

Reward:

• Annual salary £44,811 - £49,257, rates start at £19.15 per hour, increase with IRTEC & Double Deck certifications.
• 48 hours per week – Night shifts 6pm – 6am Monday - Thursday.
