HR Advisor – About The Role
As a HR Advisor, you will play a key role in driving the people agenda across the Operations function, ensuring that they deliver exceptional HR service and support the ongoing development of a high-performance culture. You will be a trusted advisor to managers and team members, providing practical HR solutions that support business objectives while enhancing employee experience. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic HR team, where you’ll collaborate widely across various functions and contribute to impactful initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide operational HR support, acting as the first point of contact for employee relations matters, including case management, absence management, and occupational health referrals.
Collaborate with managers to advise on recruitment processes, including policy, procedures, and selection.
Ensure strong employee relations by engaging with managers to fulfil their legal obligations and handle HR queries effectively.
Support organisational design initiatives and contribute to the implementation of changes, such as terms and conditions or contractor management.
Partner with the People Team to develop and implement talent management strategies, including succession planning and career development.
Support the growth and engagement of early career programmes, such as internships, apprenticeships, and graduate schemes.
Assist with the delivery of learning and development programs, as well as support employee engagement initiatives.
Manage HR data and reporting, providing insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Ensure that HR policies are fit for purpose and consistently applied across the organization.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders, confidently influencing and advising on HR matters.
The successful HR Advisor will have/be:
Proven experience as an HR Advisor with strong employee relations and case management skills (experience in manufacturing, operations, technology, or high-performance sporting organisations is an advantage).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to use insights to inform decisions.
Ability to prioritise and manage a demanding workload in a fast-paced environment.
