Our client a welcoming and established Nursery setting in Portsmouth are currently seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join their professional & friendly team.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to children in our nursery. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and have a nurturing personality.

Your role:

1. Assist in creating a safe and stimulating environment for children
2. Supervise and engage with children during playtime and activities
3. Assist with feeding, diapering, and maintaining cleanliness of the nursery
4. Collaborate with other staff members to plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum
5. Monitor children's behavior and communicate any concerns to the Nursery Manager
6. Maintain accurate records of children's activities, progress, and incidents
7. Foster positive relationships with parents and provide regular updates on their child's development

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Level 3 Childcare & Education or above
2. Previous experience working with young children
3. Knowledge of child development principles and practices
4. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
5. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
6. Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
