Robotics Software Engineer

We’re looking for a Robotics Software Engineer to join our team in Reading. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge robotics projects, developing real-time systems, SLAM, mapping, and embedded software. You’ll be working with a highly skilled team, building APIs and drivers for robotic components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop APIs and drivers for robotic components using C++ (Python for automation is a bonus).
• Work on SLAM, mapping, and real-time software development.
• Contribute to embedded systems development and microcontroller integration.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and receive mentorship in robotics.
• Assemble and test robotic platforms.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Experience with ROS, Python, and Linux (preferred but not required).
• Background in embedded software, robotics, or real-time systems.
• Understanding of hardware-software interaction and performance optimization.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
