The role is based 4 days a week in the office near Maidstone and will be leading a team of 7 across EMEA.

Job Description

The HR Shared Service Manager - EMEA will be responsible for:

  • Development and Implementation of global HR programs and services.
  • Developing and optimising an efficient and successful Shared Service Function to better the employee experience.
  • Collaborating with the HR Business Partnering teams on initiatives to support employees, ensuring HR Services are aligned to the strategic HR objectives.
  • Leading Operational HR Projects e.g., building the Tier 2 service.
  • Driving the use of the Workday system - optimising workflows and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Leading and developing a global team of 7, providing coaching and support.
  • Resolving escalated and complex HR issues, providing advice and resolution on employee relations issues, policies and additional HR queries.
  • Ensuring operations are aligned to relevant local employment law and regulations.
  • Developing standardised processes, utilising the use of technology and driving continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Shared Services Manager - EMEA should have:

  • Experience within a Shared Service function (Global experience is desirable).
  • Proven experience in a similar industry is desirable (FMCG, Consumer Goods, Retail, Manufacturing).
  • Proven experience in leading and developing a team.
  • Strong knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in HRIS and MS Office or other HR systems.
