We are currently seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Companion Animal Account Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with veterinary practices within Central/West London. The primary goal of this role is to increase market share and stimulate market growth for our companion animal portfolio by building long-term, sustainable, and profitable relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with veterinary practices in the designated geographical area.
- Understand the needs and requirements of veterinary practices and provide them with tailored solutions from our companion animal portfolio.
- Achieve regional sales targets in line with the overall business unit strategy.
- Identify new business opportunities and work towards expanding market share.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to deliver exceptional customer experience.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to develop competitive strategies and recommendations.
- Effectively manage and prioritise accounts and activities to ensure maximum productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Continuously update and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using our CRM system.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in account management or sales.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the veterinary market in the Central/West London area.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the designated region.
