A well-respected specialist school near Guildford is looking for an Aspiring Child Psychologist to support children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The students range between 10 and 16 years old and face a range of SEMH needs, including trauma, anxiety, OCD, and behavioural issues. The students therefore need an Intervention and Pastoral Assistant who will be dedicated to being a consistent role model, committed to building strong relationships, empathetic, and up for a challenge! The school is located in the beautiful Surrey Hills of Guildford and has on-site parking.

As an Aspiring Child Psychologist, you must be open-minded, resilient, and knowledgeable about mental health. The perfect candidate will have experience with SEN children and/or adults in any setting. Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, or Counselling would also be perfect for this position.

Start date: ASAP
Salary: £85-£105 per day, Mon-Fri, 8.30am-4pm, term time only
Training: Excellent on-site training, support, and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students
Requirements: You MUST have the right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship. Must be able to travel to Guildford/surrounding areas.
