Cleaning supervisor (part-time)

As our business continues to grow in the commercial cleaning sector, we are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Cleaning Supervisor to lead a team of operatives. This role requires a robust leader who can effectively manage client expectations while navigating the challenges of team supervision.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee operations at a prestigious school in the Hessle area. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining cleaning standards, motivating staff, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supervising and motivating a team of cleaning operatives.
2. Ensuring high cleaning standards are consistently met.
3. Acting as a key holder and overseeing site security during cleaning hours.
4. Maintaining and ensuring the cleanliness of equipment.
5. Performing hands-on cleaning tasks such as hoovering, dusting, mopping, and polishing.

What We Provide:

1. Comprehensive training.
2. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and all necessary cleaning materials.

Working Hours:

1. Monday to Friday, 15:15 PM to 18:15 PM.

Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring:

1. Proven experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry.
2. Strong communication skills, with fluency in English.
3. Excellent customer service skills.
4. The ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks.
5. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
