We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Qualified Design Technology Teacher to join our exceptional SEN school in Fleet. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to making a difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

As a Qualified Design Technology Teacher, you will work with students in a supportive and inclusive environment, delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to their individual learning needs. You will inspire creativity, problem-solving, and practical skills in Design Technology, ensuring every student reaches their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan, deliver, and assess Design Technology lessons for students with SEN.
2. Create differentiated resources to meet individual learning needs.
3. Develop and implement IEPs (Individual Education Plans) where necessary.
4. Collaborate with a dedicated team of educators and support staff to deliver high-quality teaching.
5. Engage with parents and carers to discuss students’ progress and achievements.

About You:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Proven experience teaching Design Technology at KS3 and KS4, ideally within an SEN setting.
3. Strong understanding of SEN and experience working with students with a range of learning difficulties.
4. Passion for Design Technology and its ability to develop students’ creativity and problem-solving skills.
