Key Responsibilities

• Support the day to day running of the CHP plant
• Proactive attitude and commitment to health and safety
• Undertake scheduled maintenance and repair of equipment
• Sample and load feedstock
• Monitor and respond to out of hours alarms on a rotational basis including on weekends
• Monitor plant control systems (SCADA)
• Complete daily checks, log books and records
• Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues by adhering to company H&S policies and procedures
• Other duties as required by your line manager

Person Specification

• Practical and hands on, with mechanical experience
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong IT skills
• Professional manner and effective communication skills
• Proactive and flexible approach to work
• Willing to take responsibility and ownership for tasks
• Ability to work under own initiative but also as part of a multifunctional team
• Holds a current UK driving licence
• Able to work a 4 days on and 4 days off shift pattern

The successful candidate will be required to work weekends, bank holidays and attend call outs.
