  • Registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC).
  • Post-registration experience in Scrub roles within a Theatre environment.

Responsibilities

Theatre Scrub Practitioner

Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital | Nursing | Permanent | Full time | Includes weekend work
Up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

Opportunity to complete SFA training with adjustment in compensation on completion of course

As a Theatre Scrub Practitioner at our Cambridge Hospital, you’ll be focused, detail-oriented, empathetic with great communication skills. You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. With post-registration experience in Scrub roles within a Theatre environment, you’re a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

As a Theatre Scrub Practitioner, you will:

  • Work in a multi-disciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload.
  • Use state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities.
  • Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team.
  • Provide high-quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based.
  • Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training.
