Join us as a Care Team Leader to inspire the next generation of Support Workers.


Lifeways are looking for a Care Team Leader to work alongside our Service Manager in the leadership and day-to-day management of our established services in Melton Mowbray. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of support workers to ensure excellent person-centred care and support is delivered.
  • Involved in the recruitment and ongoing development of support workers by carrying out staff supervisions, candidate interviews, and providing general guidance and expertise.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, people we support, and outside professionals.
  • Maintain good written communication and IT skills for record keeping.
Requirements:
  • 37.5 hours. Flexibility to work early and late shifts on a rota basis Monday to Sunday is required.
  • Must hold a full UK Driving Licence as driving company cars is required.
  • Experience as a Care Team Leader/Senior Support Worker holding an NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • If you are a dedicated Care Assistant or Carer with a solid track record and ambition to progress, Lifeways can offer excellent training and ongoing development.
