Transport Resourcing & Performance Executive
Permanent
FT – 35 hours per week
Hybrid – Home / Hub working with occasional travel to our operating port locations required (Crawley or Enbrook, Folkestone Hubs)
Our Travel operations team here at Saga is currently seeking two Transport Resourcing & Performance Executives. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the resource function within the Transport Department at one of the most recognised and trusted brands amongst UK consumers in our demographic.
As a Transport Resourcing & Performance Executive, you will be responsible for assisting the management of both internal and external resources to achieve both quality and costing targets in the delivery of chauffeur-driven and private hire journeys to our holiday customers across the Saga Group brands.
One of the roles will have a focus working with the fleet whilst the other our affiliates. You will work closely with our fleet and supplier management on our key resources (vehicles, fleet drivers, and affiliate partners), diligently allocating available resources and owning the completion of cost-effective plans based on our operational KPI’s.
You will have the opportunity to identify and implement solutions that improve systems and processes to deliver a world-class service to our customers with consideration to cost effectiveness.
This role would be ideal for someone working in a Transport, Logistics, or similar environment who has experience utilising tools such as Excel and planning systems in their role. Having experience managing relationships with third-party suppliers in your career, or exposure to an operations environment within sectors including transport and travel is advantageous.
