An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and committed Consultant Radiologist with interest in Nuclear Medicine and MSK to join the Imaging Department at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.
The post holder will join a flexible and enthusiastic team in a forward thinking department who are committed to working as ‘One Team’ for the benefit of patients.
The post has become available as a recent retirement and expansion of the service following the procurement of a SPECT CT scanner. The Imaging department at SASH has a team of 24 substantive Consultant Radiologists and 4 Registrars. The successful candidate will be a key part of MDT meetings and specialist reporting of GI, Gynae and/or urology studies.
The Department is well equipped with 4 CT Scanners, 3 MRI Scanners, Interventional Suite, 4 Ultrasound Rooms, DEXA, and multiple General X-Ray Rooms across the acute East Surrey site and satellite Crawley site. A state of the art SPECT CT Scanner is currently being installed on the East Surrey site.
There are opportunities for the successful candidates to work at the East Surrey Hospital and support the Crawley Hospital site.
Applicants must be on the specialist register or have a CCT date within 6 months of the interview date.
