Educator

Life Education Wessex & Thames Valley is an independent charity partnering with schools in Dorset, Hampshire, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and East Swindon. As a delivery partner of Coram Life Education, we provide relationships, health, wellbeing, and drugs education to children aged 3 to 13. Our Educators use interactive and creative methods to stimulate curiosity and deliver engaging life skills workshops.

Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for an Educator to work in Devon, Dorset and surrounding counties in Primary Schools. The Educator will be responsible for planning and delivering age-appropriate workshops that cover topics such as Health and Wellbeing, Mental Wellbeing, Drug Education, Online Behaviours and Relationship and Sex Education. They will engage students through discussions, group activities, drama, and short films.

• Lesson Planning and Education skills
• Communication and Teaching abilities
• Training experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with children
• Previous experience in education or child development
• Knowledge of health and wellbeing topics relevant to children
• A teaching qualification or certification is preferred
