We’re looking for a skilled and creative Videographer & Editor to join our team and take our visual storytelling and podcast production to the next level.

Phonic Content is a leading podcast and content creation agency based in London. We have successfully launched over 180 podcasts for entrepreneurs, brands, influencers, and media companies, helping them reach global audiences through branded content and organic marketing.

As our Videographer & Editor, you will be responsible for planning, shooting, and editing high-quality content across long-form and short-form formats, ensuring everything we produce is engaging, trend-driven, and visually outstanding.

This role is perfect for someone who is social media-savvy, can spot viral trends, and knows how to package content for maximum audience reach. You will also play a key role in setting up, managing, and producing in-person podcast recordings in our 4K studio and on-location setups for clients.

Concept Development & Filming

• Plan, shoot, and direct high-quality video content for podcasts, social media, and branded content.
• Oversee multi-camera 4K video production for in-person podcast recordings.
• Set up and manage all aspects of studio and on-location video shoots, including lighting, sound, and camera operations.

Editing & Content Creation

• Edit long-form podcast videos and create short-form clips optimised for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Enhance content with dynamic transitions, captions, and engaging storytelling techniques.
• Ensure all video content aligns with trending social media styles and audience preferences.

Podcast Production & Studio Setup

• Manage the technical setup for client podcast recordings at various locations.
• Oversee the 4K video studio build to ensure a professional, high-end recording environment.
• Operate and maintain camera, lighting, and audio recording equipment.

Social Media & Trend Awareness

• Stay ahead of video trends, editing styles, and platform-specific algorithms to maximise audience engagement.
• Work with the team to repurpose podcast content into viral clips for social media.

At least 2 years of experience in video production, content creation, or a similar role.

Proficiency in video editing software (especially Adobe Premiere Pro).

Experience in setting up and managing multi-camera productions, including lighting & audio.

A strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and podcasting trends.

Ability to handle fast turnarounds and meet content deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

A self-starter with creative vision, who can conceptualize content ideas without constant supervision.

Experience working with social media content, influencer marketing, and brand storytelling.

A keen interest in podcasts, content marketing, and digital media.

Bonus: Experience in podcast audio editing & live-stream production is a plus!

Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm)

Salary: £24,000 – £30,000 per year (depending on experience)
