Chichester College has an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Information Services Report Developer at our Chichester campus. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, we will offer a competitive salary of £26,716 - £29,196 per annum.

The Information Services Report Developer role:

Are you an experienced Report Developer looking for a role with hybrid working (working from home) opportunities?

The Chichester College Group is seeking to appoint an Information Services Report Developer. This role is key in assisting the Information Services Supervisor in the management, development, implementation, and support of the Group's computerised information systems. You will also assist in the provision of statistical information to staff throughout the College and to external bodies.

The role is hybrid with 2 days based at our Chichester campus and the remaining 3 days working from home. The working pattern will be discussed at interview; however, the hours for this post are typically Mon-Thu 8.30/9 00/17.30 and Friday 8.30/9 30/17.00.

Key Responsibilities of our Information Services Report Developer:

• Assisting in the management and development of information systems.
• Providing statistical information to staff and external bodies.
• Ensuring that appropriate learning materials are prepared and assessments and assignments are undertaken in a timely manner.
• Taking an active role in the achievement of high individual student retention and success rates.
• Developing curricula and learning activities, taking into consideration literacy and numeracy development, and equality and diversity.
• Understanding personal responsibilities in relation to Safeguarding.
• Keeping up-to-date with current issues, changes, and policies relating to the educational sector.
• Participating in marketing activities and promoting the College.

Our ideal Information Services Report Developer should have the below skills and experience:

• Relevant level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in the development of statistical information from large database systems.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Access and Excel.
• Extensive knowledge of a programming language used for the development of information systems (e.g., VB.Net).
• Time management skills, organisational skills, and the ability to meet targets and deadlines.
