Sommelier - Up to A£17 per hour + Tronc


The Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Sommelier to join a renowned venue known for its luxury and high-end hospitality. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, guest-focused professional who is passionate about wine and dedicated to providing exceptional service. If you have a background in luxury or members' club environments and are looking to advance your career, we'd love to hear from you.


Ideal Candidate:

  1. A guest-focused mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  2. Experience in a luxury or members' club environment is highly desirable.
  3. WSET Level 2 or 3 qualification preferred.
  4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and connect with guests.
  5. Strong wine knowledge and a genuine interest in sharing that knowledge with others.
  6. Willingness to work late finishes on weekends (until around 1am).

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional guest service, offering expert recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
  2. Oversee wine stock, including ordering, inventory control, and ensuring proper storage.
  3. Foster strong engagement with guests, creating a personalised and memorable experience.
  4. Work closely with the team to ensure smooth service and high-quality standards at all times.
  5. Support and train staff on wine knowledge and service excellence.
  6. Stay current with industry trends, new wine arrivals, and best practices to continually elevate the guest experience.
