Your new company
An exciting opportunity to join a market-leading media business based in London. You will be joining at a juncture of change, with M&A, system improvements, recruitment plans and new business wins on the horizon. This would suit someone used to a matrix structure but more than happy to roll up their sleeves and get involved in day-to-day accounting and operations.

Your new role

Sitting in the London Head Office, you will be managing the Group year-end processes including:

  • Lead on the year-end group consolidated reporting, meeting PE deadlines and standards.
  • Overseeing the year-end audit, being the first point of contact for the auditors.
  • Own all areas of technical accounting and provide guidance to the wider team.
  • Review balance sheet focusing on deferred and accrued income.
  • Review monthly journals and all accounting controls.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Top Four Trained - with a background in technically strong audit roles.
  • Experience within a PLC / PE environment - meeting deadlines, reporting standards, producing the annual report etc.
  • Technically strong - an IFRS expert, with a passion for complex accounting.
  • Career Contractor - you will have project managed several similar year-end roles, and be happy rolling up your sleeves.
  • Project manager - experience leading audits, year-end and integration projects.
