HSEQ Advisor (6 Month FTC)

HSE Recruitment are proud to be working with an engineering business, who are looking for a HSEQ Advisor on a 6 month fixed term contract who can start immediately.

This role can be based anywhere in the UK although a central location would be ideal as you may be supporting field-based activities anywhere in the UK. Outside of this, you have full flexibility to work from home and/or from one of the UK Offices.

You will report into the Head of HSE and be part of a team of advisors, who will make sure you have the support and guidance to get up to speed quickly. This role will support a particular area of the business covering someone who is off. You will provide advice to stakeholders across the business, support and conduct planned audits, and be available to deal with any questions or queries that might come up. It will be a broad supporting role across the business, being on hand to take tasks off the safety team to free up their time to focus on other areas.

The person:

1. Minimum of NEBOSH Certificate with a good couple of years’ experience as an advisor.
2. Any lead auditor qualification or experience with ISO systems.
3. Experience within engineering or multidiscipline workforces.
4. Capable of producing dynamic risk assessments.
5. Someone who is confident to get on with the job, is organised and thorough, and can get up to speed quickly.
6. The ability to manage and prioritise workload but be adaptable to meet tight project deadlines and work under pressure.
7. Someone with a can-do attitude, good collaboration, and communication skills.
8. Able to build relationships and effectively manage stakeholders, including keeping others up to date with progress.

The salary on offer is £30-45,000 depending on experience.
