Ashton Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Final Assembly Supervisor for our client based in Ballynahinch.

Role: Final Assembly Supervisor

Location: Ballynahinch

Rate of pay: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour depending on experience + 50p per hour timekeeping bonus on completion of 40 hpw

Hours of work: 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4pm Friday (40hpw)

Main duties and responsibilities:

Oversee final assembly process
Job planning with existing team
Work closely with suppliers, operators and other internal departments to manage stock
Oversee quality tests, pre dispatch
Implementation of LEAN tools and principles
Stock control and administration.

Essential criteria:

Good communication and planning skills
Microsoft Word, Excel and general PC functions
Engineering and/or manufacturing skills
Full UK driving license or equivalent
Forklift truck experience

Desirable Experience:

Engineering qualification
Previous experience of leadership / management
Knowledge of LEAN principles
Previous experience in a similar environment, however additional training will be provided
